@dgar Unfortunately, the one at the top is an Euler diagram. A Venn diagram contains all subsets, whether possible or not, so the circles all need to overlap. Euler diagrams are just circles that can (but don’t have to) overlap.

Confidence is not "I know what I'm doing."

Confidence is "I know how to find that out" and "I know how to learn new things" and most importantly "I know when I don't know what I'm doing, so I stop and find someone who does"

Obnoxious blowhards rely on people not understanding this distinction. And they amplify it by framing actual confidence as weakness.

This may be a useful thing to talk about with certain people in your life who are being fooled by fascists.

@louie Sorry, I missed that reply, but in this case I have one more: Walt Disney Studios also has two Cars rides, Cars Road Trip and Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. This happened because they reworked the studio tour to make it Cars themed.

@louie Depending on what you count as attractions, Disneyland Paris also has Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups and Alice’s Curious Labyrinth (which is really just a maze with a tower in the middle, but Disney lists it as an attraction).

@fial @foxhkron @Fparianen Yes, because aside from the obvious problems like nuclear waste, dangers of meltdown, etc. it’s just straight up inefficient. The operating costs of a nuclear power plant to get 1 MWh are much higher than they are for renewables and they are still rising. Also, if you are dependent on fuel you are still not energy independent, which we are also trying to become.
