I am beginning to think I made a mistake, signing up for an intersession (and so 4-week) language class while trying to revise my #RomanticSuspense and while drafting my #EpicFantasy . On the other hand, this was THE class to take intersession, since I have been conversational in another romance language (20 years ago), and it means my next language class will be normal semester length.
Oh, and while working and parenting. Whoops. But it gives me better reason to hide from #editing !
Well, this week's starting off...better than last week. Other than the awful cold that I got from either my boss or my daughter, that is.
I got locked out of my office, managed to figure out what comes next in my #RomanticSuspense series, managed to start the re-plot of my #EpicFantasy 2nd quarter because I had to change how the MCs met entirely, and...
And yes, this is better than last week. Happy Hannukah to those who celebrate!

5) Get to know people. Follow people. Follow hashtags (check the Explore tab, and you can search by #HashTag - which is why they're so important!)

Welcome to everyone new to the Fediverse! The #TwitterMigration has been tough, but a few things that helped me find my feet here.
1) Do an #introduction , with hashtags, and then pin it to your profile!
2) Remember to use content warnings (the cw dohicky) for anything that you're not sure about. Common things are #EyeContact #Twitter #NSFW , etc.
3) Be friendly to those with sight issues. CamelCase for hashtags, alt text your images (an option when you post), and tags within sentences!

It hurts, the news of #ColoradoSprings and the #shooting at #ClubQ . I lived in the Springs, longer ago than I like to admit now. What happened should never happen. We shouldn't have to grieve the lives cut short due to hate.
My heart goes out to the #lgbtq community. Love is love. People are people. I stand in support and will uplift your voices.

3. Romance? Bromance? In ancient Rome, why not both?
4. Languages suck, but it's more realistic than otherwise.
