Rebuilding my feed here after losing my account., so a quick #introduction.
Kidney transplant in 1999, living with #ChronicIllness is no fun.
Husband is now showing signs of dementia. He’s not always content, habits are more pronounced.
I’m here for the fun and distraction that I know can be discovered.

Rhubarb advice please folks. I intend to smuggle some of my late Dad's rhubarb from the garden back home. There's a large crown I can split easily. I know it's not the best time to do so but needs must. I'm trying to reduce shock, and it'll need to survive 4 days before I can get it home. Any thoughts? I'm thinking of splitting it into 4 to 5 inch chunks, wrapping it in paper, keeping it damp and as dark and cool as possible, then crossing my fingers.
Though I've gently suggested it to him a few times over the years, kiddo himself suddenly decided to start a journal last night. Tonight, as he went to write again, he came back out to his dad and me with an awed face. "I understand why people do this now. When I read what I wrote last night, I could FEEL what I felt then!"
😍 My heart. 🥰
Write, friends, in whatever format you need or desire. It is good for you.

New Scam Call just dropped.
Apparently my Immigration Documents are not correct. Uh huh.
I was offered English or Chinese. I selected English to do some shouting, got someone speaking Chinese, said "English please" and they hung up.
Soooo if you have friends from China here in Australia, maybe let them know there's a scam happening and don't panic if they get a call from "Immigration"
