I'm Robbie Antenesse! My main home is @robbie, but this is my tabletop gaming home away from home!

I'm developing the GUTS+ RPG system over at https://guts.plus #GUTSPlus

I also play #DnD #5e, and occasionally make some tabletop and video games too!

I'm honestly stunned by how many people have downloaded the GUTS+ PDF from amongst the thousands of other games in the bundles it's been included in!

Seeing numbers like these and seeing up to 3 downloads per day over the past month is almost motivating enough to convince me to stop giving up on the rewrite/update! ......almost.

I'm working on world and continent maps for my group's Fabula Ultima campaign because I've been wanting to make maps for ages. I'm building them in Inkscape, but I've been taking my campaign notes on an iPad, so I've been looking for vector editor that's free and can work with my file.

Right after I finished the Lamear map (well, not "finished," I just don't know the GM's other landmarks and cities yet), I opened the SVG in some free app and *immediately* saw it was messed up. Unfortunately, I was using iCloud to sync the file between devices, and this app auto saved upon opening and ruined all my layers and labeling, the font sizes for some reason, and the gradients I used for the forests 😭

I was able to get the text and labeling redone without too much trouble, but those damn gradients are gonna be the death of me... Hopefully I can find a better way to do them before I have to spend too much time on redoing them 😞

I just spent 4 hours playing this interesting game published in 1990 called The Key to the Kingdom, and it was pretty fun! It has this clever fold-out board that causes trouble for your opponents, but it is a roll-and-move game where everything is determined by dice, which can lead to some bullshit scenarios. The rulebook is also a little vague, but in the end it's a pretty fun experience if you don't take it too seriously!
For some reason, my #GUTSPlus RPG system is getting downloaded a bunch over the past few days! Thousands of people got access to it in 2 of the mega bundles from the past couple years, but it's always funny to me when I start seeing the download numbers jump.
I got these beautiful labradorite gemstone dice for my birthday yesterday! I'm so excited to use them!!

#ComingSoon : SUPER! Power Fighter N is a single-page #TTRPG about believing in yourself to become powerful enough to defeat an overpowered monster! It's inspired by and is a semi-parody of everyone's favorite #shonen and #sentai action shows from Japan. Get lucky and your attack can get huge—give it some extra Heart, and you can achieve the impossible!

I'm going through a last round of proofreading, then I'll post the download page as soon as it's ready!

My late birthday present from a friend! I only just started reading through it, but there are some interesting rules so far. I'm really excited to try it out, and I really hope my partner will try it with me! #marvel #ttrpg

I get to play D&D on Sunday, and I made a #character I think is gonna be really interesting! Meet Arböl Troskül, the dwarf druid-turned-warlock whose minor forest god patron (Chaotic Neutral) has big (secret) plans to become less minor disguised as an urge for him (Neutral Good) to learn everything he can about the world outside of his cult's community!

#DnD

The character was drawn by an AI art bot, and then I colored it! Turned out really good I think!

OH MY GOD?????

I had forgotten this was a truth I learned 4 years ago. Gotta keep that in mind whenever I work on a print-and-play game again in the future...

If you're building a PnP game, remember that the fewer cuts required equates to a higher likelihood that people may try your game!
