The downward trend in #Bluesky daily active users has been visible since October but for the last 10 days new registrations have also been consistently low compared to the past at only around 4.5k per day.

All signs point to Praydog's UEVR mod being slated for release later this month completely for free. It will be a total game changer for virtual reality gaming on PC as hundreds of Unreal Engine 4 games will be playable in VR with it for the first time ever.
The trend seems to be that users are not sticking around on #bluesky as according to this stats site active user numbers are down roughly 20% compared to a month ago. This while new registrations are still going strong and Elon Musk's recent antisemitic comments on #x have once again been a significant driver for another wave of the #twittermigration

Germany in particular is taking part with almost all of the toots here about it being in german. I guess they got fed up when #ElonMusk started actively commenting on their internal politics...
I wonder what could be done to help more future migrants to find their way to the fediverse again. I guess #wordpress dot com enabling activitypub and #threads eventually federating will help shift the focus back somewhat.
