Took me a month to get around to reading this, but here Der Spiegel reports that the CIA had very early knowledge of Ukraine's secret op to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline, and officials even hinted US support before Washington tried to stop the whole thing.
We're still a long way from Seymour Hersh's claim that the Americans and Norwegians carried out the bombing themselves, but his fantastical tale nevertheless seems less inaccurate than the early-days suspicion that Russia bombed its own pipeline.
