Seen several "put content warnings on politics" posts and I don't know how to tell white people that 90% of all life is politics. You're asking people to hide the stuff you find unpalatable and that's not a reasonable thing to expect other people to do for you.

Hi everyone! With all the new faces, I thought I’d take a minute to explain how #mastodon works. When you press “Publish!” on a message, your “#toot” is printed on acetate and attached to a #bee in a small capsule. That #bee is then given a choice of five #tubes to crawl through.* Once the #bee proceeds into a #tube, an #owl receives the #capsule from the #bee and brings it to your #federated #instance of #mastodon. HTH!

*The #bee has autonomy to choose no tube and force a system lockup.
