edwardchampionHendrix considered Sister Rosetta Tharpe his favorite guitarist. And it's easy to see why. She was an indisputable badass, predating Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and Les Paul by a good two decades. And without her, we wouldn't have rock and roll as we know it. She was almost forgotten by history, but thankfully there are numerous YouTube clips available of this stunning innovator in action!
