COVID, Day 3. Woke up with a lot more energy and feel tremendously joyful because I don't feel as terrible as I did during the first two days. Imagine being Matt Taibbi right now. You thought you could pull one over on your former colleagues, only to prove just how easily you could play yourself. Can we completely stop taking this self-serving fool seriously? He wasn't much of a journalist to begin with. And anyone who is that easily manipulated by Elon can't be trusted as a professional.

Lots of journalists coming onto the Fediverse in the last twelve hours. It looks like Elon has instigated another birdsite refugee influx. But I've also noticed an uptick in conservatives offering a false equivalency argument: "Liberals complaining. They were silent when conservatives were banned! Hypocrites!"

The difference is that these journos played by the rules and were banned ANYWAY. This is designed to delegitimize and stigmatize journalists.
