Welcome to America, where ICE agents show up at your work place to demand you delete your Instagram post, because it reminds people that ICE agent Jonathan Ross has not been indicted for his murder of Renée Good.

@randahl

The USA has turned into a country I would never like to visit again in the foreseeable future.

#LandOfTheFree

@aerofreak @randahl A part of it has always been like that, I think. I mean, have a look at the US press and their favourable opinions of the nazis in 1930’s. Then have a look at McCarthyism, and not even mentioning KKK’s maintstream popularity.

IMO it’s just been damn good at propagandising away the evil parts of itself, that never have been defeated. It’s been behaving like an empire most of it’s life, but we in Europe needed to believe it was good because USSR.

@gimulnautti

Yes, and there are other things I’ve always found disconcerting. It’s just that it has now reached such an obvious, alarming scale. And apparently, more than 30 per cent of voters still support it. I don’t travel to surround myself with people like that. I’ve already got too many of them in my own country

@randahl Jesus fucking Christ. We are a joke country. And the joke is not funny.

@randahl
"Welcome to Russia... No sorry I meant welcome to USA... Oh well it's the same".

#uspol

@pglpm
Both countries have a Russian agent as their president.
@randahl
@randahl also a proof that EVERYTHING you do online is actively monitored , because with 356 likes it's not like it had become highly public.

turndapaigeofficial BREAKING: The ICE agent
who shot and killed Renee Good in broad
daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross

great day for Jonathan to be indicted!

@ocrbot @LeelaTorres

Dear OCRbot,

Thanks for the #alttext, and there was also a picture of Jonathan Ross from the side, wearing a mask.

@randahl I boosted the post, the more the people know about it - the better! What an awful country 😒
@connynasch @randahl What I find annoying is that the stupid people in the UK want us to be more like the Americans. I’ve noticed a huge spike in pickup trucks driving around and old men in particular wearing American-style clothing. Europe is far more sophisticated, and the public here rejected them in favour of the crude culture in the US. It's a shame they're not emulating the sophisticated Americans.
@david @randahl OMF! That is really bad news, I used to live in England when it was still civilised, my son was born in London in 1984 (quite Orwellian 🤔) My English friends here in Luxembourg miss the pre-Brexit days.
@connynasch @randahl I was born the same year. It really has deteriorated. I’d leave if I had somewhere to go. The government members seem to find their own citizens inconvenient to their selfish plans for furthering their careers. And the hypocrisy is palpable. Their families were poor and/or immigrants once, and now they have power they’re punishing anyone who follows. I personally believe immigrants bring new ideas from their homelands that make us think.
@david @randahl We, the Luxembourgers, are a very polyglot and open nation. I am a perfect example: born in Germany, raised in South Africa, then left to live in England. Due to my husband's work, we went to Holland and then arrived here. My present partner is a true century-long Luxembourger, and I have become one passport and all 😁 Presently, we have an enormous influx of Africans, which makes me feel quite at home LOL!
@connynasch @randahl One side of my family can trace their English ancestry back 1,000 years. The other side are Irish, and became Irish from Scottish when the English raised taxes (after they took over Scotland) driving out the poor Scottish peasants who then fled to Ireland. So in a roundabout way it always comes back to the UK. I wish I could say there was something more exciting in there.
@david @randahl I absolutely loved visiting Scotland a few years ago. Admittedly, I am a huge Whisky fan 😁 My favourite is Smokehead, if you have not tasted it - it is highly recommendable. History, world domination and literature are highlights of the past, though I must say the books still forefront many things. It might be sad to see the present state, but do not give up. There is surely some light at the tunnel end?
@randahl When they did that stunt about nice agents I wrote a song dissing the hell out of that so I wouldn't have to carry that anger around. That #JonathanRoss,
the #gICEtapo agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight is still walking around without an indictment IS an indictment that this administration and all associated with it will never live down through history or in future. 🖖

@randahl

What's the difference between a Gestapo agent and an ICE agent? The Gestapo agent had a better-looking uniform.

@randahl Very scary:
“Gonyea says on Election Day she called the agent back and told him she was working at a polling site. The agent wanted Gonyea to come outside, but she didn't feel comfortable.”
“‘I don't trust going outside or dealing with ICE agents at all in any capacity,’ Gonyea said in an interview with NPR. Her fellow poll worker, 70-year-old Sheilia Milledge, didn't want her to go outside either.”
@randahl If they want something to be erased, then i will share it.
@randahl This Jonathan Ross guy, you say?

@randahl

It's important not to let them intimate us, so let's name this criminal as often as possible.

#jonathanross #ice #murder

@randahl i am so sad. I loved the USA and I have been there many times, but now the USA look like completely different
@randahl
THIS is terrorism. She is pushing back hard which is greatly appreciated. Even more concerning is what is going on in Texas. An activist moving pamphlets was sentenced to 50 years in prison.

The Guardian

@anolandria @randahl @NoahLoren13

It's ironic and satire btw

Why not an Anti-fascist version of Crips/Bloods? XDDDDDD

@randahl This is what the fascist government has made the norm, use ICE as the federal police force that directly serves the fascist ruling class to intimidate people from speaking up against fascism even on the internet.
@randahl Every day is a great day for Jonathon Ross to be indicted.
@randahl I wonder when is a good time for a civil war. I guess far from this?
