@GurgelSegrillo 😂 at least half the art world is neurodivergent, every single artist I know.😆
@GurgelSegrillo it's quite common for ND folks to use AI to rephrase mails and messages, to make them sound "more normal".
Besides the discussion on AI, I'm "fascinated" by what that says about our society.

@GurgelSegrillo I strongly disagree.

Using AI can be great for saving "spoons" when you have problems with excecutive function. As an ADHD AND autistic person (= even more difficulties) I believe that preventing AuDHD burnout (which, in my case, leads to work disability for months) is more important.

It's not a perfect solution, I know. But it's ALWAYS better than e.g. dreaming about unaliving yourself 🙂‍↕️

And of course It's one tool among others.

(English is not my first language)

@GurgelSegrillo (or is this post only about AI artwork?)

@nekonekosanna @GurgelSegrillo We have to face the fact that AI now means LLMs/GenAI. Se we have to be more specific of what *we* mean. Unfair maybe, but that ship has sailed and we have to live with that.

I use automations, and I used to use them a lot more in the past, when LLMs didn't exist and AI was a catch-all for "smart" automation. So I don't think most folks have a problem with people using assistive tools, spellcheckers or automations and such. But we have to also call them as such, not just say "I'm using AI", because that means LLMs/GenAI now.

@nekonekosanna @GurgelSegrillo I perceived it as a rejection of using neurodivergence as a blanket white-washing excuse of generative AI technology as a whole, as in, being helpful for ADHD people doesn’t absolve it being built from stolen work.

As for my case, I’m in the same boat as you regarding AuDHD and months long disability due to burnout. I see a clear distinction between using unsavory means to assist survival and using your neurodivergence as a justification for social media grifting via mega-plagiarism machine.
