aprilfollies@golgaloth My favorite was a dress code rebellion. “Skirts must be below the knee” = hoop skirts back in fashion. “Ties must be worn” … around the forehead, or leg, or… As the dress code got more and more specific, students had to find more clever “letter of the law” interpretations.
Mark Whybird@aprilfollies @golgaloth There was a workplace dress code policy typo in a place I was at once: shirts had to be collared and could not have anything printed on them except “discrete” [sic] logos.
While I was tempted to mock the one person who was being dumb about the dress code by having a collared t-shirt made up with many huge commercial logos made discrete with bold lines, it wasn’t worth it in the end. I did wear a full dinner suit to work one day though for the same reason, and that was enough; the special shirt might have been the next step if it was needed.
Dark Matter Zine@golgaloth A protag recorded a crime and put it online anonymously. Although technically a “breach” for various reasons, it cleared the protagonist-victim and anonymity of posting kept the protagonist-cameraguy out of trouble because he wasn’t the only one with a phone out recording.
