What should our next #Monsterdon movie be?
What should our next #Monsterdon movie be?
Ooooh, End of the World was originally a double feature with Laserblast!
It's the weaker of the two films...
@Taweret Judging from old posters, it looks like "Super Beast" was usually on a double bill with "Daughters of Satan"
See, men like sexy nearly-naked witches, but women like mutant cannibals with sharp teeth.
"Beginning of the End" looks like grasshoppers? with giant teeth?
"Giant from the Unknown" has a very traditional poster of a Sasquatch menacing a woman.
"End of the World" still has a great poster. I hope the movie can live up to it.
"The Vampire" is another generic horror poster. The vampire is a bit more beastly than normal, though. Almost a werewolf.
"Sting of Death" has an interesting poster. Looks like it was done in pencil? Anyway, it clearly shows that the bad guy is a man with a jellyfish where his head should be.
@CactuarJoe @Taweret
Bert I. Gordon directing, the man who gave us Attack of the Puppet People, Earth vs The Spider, and Tormented!
It probably has B movie actors you recognize. It's guaranteed to have uh...to uh...it's guaranteed to be a movie.
Oh! That's the giant grasshoppers attacking Chicago movie!
Peter Graves saved us from the giant grasshoppers, and his brother, James Arness saved us from giant ants in "Them"!

@kshernandez @Taweret I lost interest last night. Was distracted by megabonk.
The End of the World looks promising, but I bet it sucks.
The Sting of Death looks super-dumb, might have a winner there
@allanb @Taweret I lost interest too and my God it was the hardest #Monsterdon I've ever had. LOL
My face the whole time.
"The End of the World" may be terrible, but I least I will get to watch Christopher Lee being cheesy.
We watched Starship Invasions in #MondayActionMovie 2 months ago. Also with Christopher Lee, also scifi, also 1977. It was *not* worth it :(
Well, I guess I have to be there now. I campaigned for this win. I may yet come to regret it.
