To solve Russia's economic crisis, Putin is eyeing at bringing back #childlabour and Soviet-style labour camps.

See how much they want peace? See how little they care for their own people?

You think negociations will help? You think you can get something with appeasement from a people that would obediently send their own children into labour camps??

Anyone talking about "making a deal with Russia" is crazy!

Russia 'to lower working age to 12 and open labour camps' in bid to solve job crisis amid Ukraine war

Vladimir Putin is facing a growing economic crisis amid the hundreds of thousands of casualties in his meatgrinder war in Ukraine and some 1 million Russians who fled to avoid the draft

@gimulnautti
At some point there must be negotiations, but to think they will be productive while Russia holds any Ukrainian territory is IMO very strange.
Maybe if Putin dues first, then the new tsar can blame it all on him and have the Muscovians go home?
Otherwise I'm thinking Ukraine fully liberated, and maybe even old Circassia too. Then Putin will accept a peace.

@gimulnautti there was a really good video explaining why Russia would have attacked Ukraine. It was by a US Senator. Russia had been betrayed by the West and as has become clear, one NATO partner has gone batshit crazy. So having NATO on your doorstep would not give anyone a warm fuzzy feeling especially with the current behaviours of certain parties.

Russia has a habit of throwing its populous under the bus. With the losses the Russian army is suffering and now direct assults on infrastructure in the country, all hands to the pumps is likely needed. Russia is unlikely to relent, based on history but perhaps they are struggling to believe the West/NATO/Ukraine would stop at the Internationally recognised Ukranian border.

It is a shame so many souls are dying for something that was unavoidable

@EF @gimulnautti Aah the Kremlin propaganda that nobody believes certainly not ordinary Russians. There was no betrayal. No ukraine nazis. Ordinary Russians know this. If you ask them they are much better placed to point out regime hypocrisy since they are exposed to it all the time. They see the maimed vets returning from Ukraine with their own eyes and they talk to them. But of course they are patriotic but nobody wanted this war, not us not them. Just their own nazis. Their own maga scum.
@nf3xn @EF Our Russia-pilled @EF seems to be somewhat of a snowflake. If not allowed the dominant position in an argument, just hits the block button. So sad. I was looking forward to explaining in detail the 300 years of Russian imperialism and it’s appropriation of Ukrainian & other cultures as it’s own!

@EF Ha. The US senator probably has investments with the Russian oligarchic class. Since they’re repeating the blase lie that Russia somehow has the right to determine who it’s neighbours associate with.

Translated into normal people’s terms, if Russia has the right to determine who our girl Ukraine can go out on a date with or marry, that already makes Russia the parent of them and Ukraine not free.

There isn’t a gram of sense in that, and he’s showing he doesn’t believe in freedom.

@gimulnautti okay, your toot is far off the mark.

The Senator explained the long potted history from a factual point of view which most people choose to ignore. It deals with the causes, the war is a symptom.

Rather than presuming, try doing some research and take it as an explination of why rather than a justification for.

@EF I’ve studied the 300 years of Russian fake victimhood rhetoric covering it’s imperialism & genocides, and how Moscow stole it’s identity from the Kyivan Rus.

I would suggest that in fact choosing to believe a certain narrative outright, calling it ”a factual point of view”, then proceeding to suggest that the other party just needs to do research, is seeking a dominant position, not presenting an argument.

And so is ignoring your opponent’s main argument straight out of the gate!

@gimulnautti bored of your agressive stance where you've either misinderstood the point or are choosing to. Blocked.
