Space Weather
The third CME seems to have just hit. Geomagnetic storm conditions briefly reached G2 (Kp7) conditions about an hour ago, but the IMF Bz is +5nT, rising to +13nT, so not conducive for good aurora. The Kp is hovering around Kp6.3 right now (just below G2).
Following the arrival of this CME, the turbulence of the previous 12 hours has gone away and has been replaced by a comparatively less chaotic stream of solar wind.
