For pride month, you can no longer use the phrase "let me get this straight".
You have to use "just so we're queer".
@paultk Out: Straight Ahead; In: Gaily Forward
@paultk lesbian poly folks: "just so we're on the same Paige"
@paultk quistal queer

@matildalove

Jack Nicholson: Are we queer?

Tom Cruise: Yes, sir.

Jack Nicholson: ARE WE QUEER?

Tom Cruise: Quistal.

@paultk

@paultk I also use “gay-ally forward” when giving directions.
@paultk This pans out, I guess.
@paultk and when driving the direction is not "go straight" it's "continue gayly forward"
Oh things I do to the Russian language when I talk about gay stuff... And I do it year round.
@paultk well, I guess I have to gay used to it then.

@paultk That's a good one!

I think "Just to be queer" should work too?

@paultk Also, instead of "brilliant", "excellent", or "fantastic", you should say "ace".
@paultk just like directions must say "two lefts and then forward through the light."
@paultk So let me get this crooked! grins
@paultk just so we're queer let me get this queer, so i can no longer use "let me this straight" and should use "just so we're queer"
@paultk my friends don't even dare to tell me "let me get this straight" anymore
@paultk Can I just use that, permanently?
@hellomiakoda @paultk yes but you will have to pay the gay tax during the other 11 months of the year
@thibaultmol @paultk I already pay a gay tex, and an autism tax, and an ADHD tax, and a pink tax....
@paultk or my favourite, straight ahead becomes GAILY FORWARD
@paultk In which case instead of ‘don’t queer the pitch’ I am going to say, ‘don’t straighten the pitch’. Works well, I think.
@paultk
And when leaving, always say "good bi".
@paultk I prefer the overly superior "let me be queer"
@paultk [bad Obama impression] uhh, let me be queer.
@paultk good lord man, this one went properly woolly, eh?
@gnomon how do I use my new found power?
@paultk immediately turn evil, of course! Boost your podcast, start hawking fitness supplements, convert to scientology, the whole nine yards!!
@paultk That's actually so witty, lol.
@paultk is there a little dance that should accompany this?

@paultk Years ago there was a weekly MTB ride in our area organized by the local queer community. It was open to all, and I felt quite welcome. This is by far the least important thing about those rides, but when approaching turnoffs in the trail we were not going to take, they wouldn’t call ”straight,” they would call “gayly forward.”

Good people.
