If #Blair thought #Streeting would delight in his intervention as the candidate most often described as Blairite he’ll be disappointed.
Again, Streeting is saying all the right things, but whether we believe them or not is another matter…

Meanwhile #Burnham reckons he needs an extra day to respond to the #Blair missive. Has he got the political swiftness of foot of #Starmer (ie. A delayed inelegant plod).
The ming vase strategy to Downing Street is going to quickly look a bit obvious…it’s understandable, but not appealing to current electorate.
Is it possible that #Streeting and #Burnham have both been tuning into #GarysEconomics podcast?
Has #Blair inadvertently united the #Labour Party in reminding them that their raison d’être is to fight #inequality ?
Have we finally got two potential leaders who realise it’s the Left they need to be wooing, not the Right?
@JugglingWithEggs Streeting has been on record as saying that 'you win the Leadership Election from the left' and that he even said that to Tony.
He knows that it's the left he needs to woo, but will immediately lurch to the hard right as soon as he's elected.
I'm not wholly sure Burnham is much different.
(Also, it wouldn't surprise me if the Blair piece in the first place was specifically to give them a right-winger to pitch against)
