Ciò pare segnalare che Londra conservi ancora una certa capacità di iniziativa diplomatica, ma è davvero arduo vedere come l’iniziativa possa tradursi nella pratica e produrre effetti decisivi nel breve periodo

The prime minister announced that the United Kingdom will convene an open meeting with 35 countries willing to play a role in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open; a kind of coalition of the willing 2.0. This appears to signal that London still retains a certain capacity for diplomatic initiative, but it is exceedingly difficult to see how this initiative can translate into practice and produce decisive effects in the short term.
