@codinghorror @FritzAdalis I must agree with Fritz. We don't like Substack because of all the nazis it is willing to host.
We don't like Grok because Elon Musk is also a nazi.
I was going to dig up some links, but I see that Mathew has provided numerous alternative citations below.
@codinghorror @FritzAdalis "alternate citations"? Alternate to what. Your generated text?
I mean, I know substack is awful I don't need any citations.
@rickscully @codinghorror People always love to go on about Free Speech, but Freedom of Association in Safety is also another human right.
Staying on Substack while it pretty much makes the "we're in a big tent" argument kinda makes it clear you don't give a toss about others human rights.
Our human rights are limited by the effects we have on other folks human rights.

No one is suppressing right wing speech. There are whole tv and internet channels devoted to them.
@codinghorror 1940s FASCISTS: I was just following orders.
2020s FASCISTS: I was just following clicks.

CHANGE HIIIIISSSSSSSS HISS HISS!
@codinghorror There are some things that are really difficult to take a stand on in public. There are some things that are really difficult to boycott, especially if you're someone that doesn't have a lot of options.
Reading SS falls into neither of these categories. If people didn't get curious when they heard about Nazis on SS--or if they know it's a thing and stayed--nope, sorry, you have none of my sympathy. Also, the majority of the writers are going to get sucked dry, as with most grifts.
