The #JaffaRiots began on #ThisDayInHistory in 1921. The Jewish Communist Party called for a "Soviet #Palestine" and held its #MayDay march along another Jewish #socialist group's route, provoking fist-fights. Arabs joined in, annoyed by the #communists, and 95 people were killed.
