People with #adhd have three types of workday:
* Get absolutely nothing done
* Get 4 hours of work done at a random point in time
* Get 40 hours of work done in 4 hours
All types are sprinkled with work unrelated sidequests

For me back in the bad old office work days it was get 8 hours work done in 30 minutes at home, email everyone, go into office after a nice breakfast and avoiding traffic, get yelled at by boss about not getting x done, ask, "have you checked your email?" wait for apology, go to my office and play Spider for two hours, go to lunch.
@jascha can we pick which ones?
Also no.
π I'm in this toot and I don't like it.
I don't think I have ADHD but when I was unmarried and wrote software for a living I used to love the week of Dec 26-31, nobody in the office and I could just go in and do two month's worth of work.
Time estimates with ADHD:
- Figure out how long it would take you on a good day when you can lock in
- Double the number
- Move the unit up by one
So:
- For a 2 hour task, estimate 4 days
- For a 3 day task, estimate 6 weeks
Some days it it wasn't for the hyperfocus I'd have no focus at all.
i love the second one
