@taletwisted It helps to have a development partner to keep you in check. In my case, when I want to give choices that would impact, however insignificantly, something later in the game, it helps to hear "I ain't testing all that" ๐Ÿ˜„ (sometimes I don't consult with him and he's not happy...)

That does sound like a big advantage! And itโ€™s certainly a good way to be able to say, โ€œI told you so!โ€ when the going gets tough (which is definitely better than just saying it to yourself) ๐Ÿ˜…

@taletwisted It is definitely an advantage โ˜บ๏ธ Having someone to bounce ideas off saves a lot of grief later. Although sometimes it's better to keep things a surprise, since I know he'd grumble about it - but when he's just presented with it, he sees nothing wrong ๐Ÿ˜„ But it is a fine line. He often has good points that I initially reject, but later totally agree with.
