Kia ora all, I've just started a really cool new job at the end of last year as a tutor for Brain Play! We teach STEM subjects to groups of kids, and do 1:1 tutoring of #neurodivergent children too.

I'm AuDHD, so I empathise so much with the kids I get to work with.

Congratulations, Simon. Enjoying your job is always a huge bonus. It doesn't feel like "work" any more.

@BobLefridge Plus, working for a neuroaffirming organisation after being in ones that only tolerated me for the last decade-and-a-half is such a breath of fresh air.

My ADHD son struggled with a few jobs before following his heart and becoming a full time juggler and street performer. Unlikely as it sounds, that occupation has kept him clothed and fed for the last 20 years. And he holds a Guinness world record for juggling to boot.

His partner also performs and they usually spend our winters in Europe. Simon (he's also a Simon) gets paid to attend juggling festivals as a demonstration juggler and manufacturers give him some really cool toys.

They've been living in Queenstown for the past six months because they make more money from street shows there than they can in Auckland.

Unfortunately the EU trip has been deferred this year because of WWIII being too close.

@BobLefridge a wise choice. And it means you get to see more of them, so there is that.
