These days, whenever I look around for #webhosting, #vps , #email, #s3 or anything.

The servers obviously have to be located in #canada (preferably in #quebec)

But the company also has to be #canadian (preferably quebec-based)

The reason for that is because American companies like #microsoft comply to US authorities regardless of server location

The CLOUD act seems to override local laws for some reason

So I'm not messing around

Everything has to be 100% Canadian (preferably Quebec-based)

@frank I don't know where the servers are now, but I believe entirelydigital.com is Canadian. They list a data center in Toronto, so I suspect the hosting company I previously used was relocated after being purchased.

@fencepost

Interesting, I didn't know about enterelydiginal, and yes, I think it's canadian

@frank I stayed with them, been more than a year and it's been solid.

@fencepost

Good for you!, I'm currently in the process of switching for planethoster.ca

This one is quebec-based and has a datacenter in Montreal

@frank Have a look at NorthMail Business, for own domain email hosting:

@EMDiscussions

Yes, I know about it. I think that's really cool
