In the new spirit of interprovincial cooperation, it would be a nice gesture finally to mention Montréal on 401 East highway signs, the way signs on Quebec Autoroute 20 Ouest have always mentioned Toronto. Most eastbound drivers aren't heading for Cornwall.
The small-minded anglo parochialism of 1960s Ontario, when the 401 was built, needs to be put to rest.
