The first time I saw him was in a campaign ad where he was trying to buy doughnuts and look like a man of the people and failing at both. It's been all downhill from there.

He blocks descisions within the EU without any sense or logic and holds other countries reliable for the bad results of his mismanagement. In advance of the upcoming election, he started changing the election laws, the layout of the ballots, the procedures of managing the voting offices and who is allowed to vote.

at least this is out in the open. in the case of Ukraine, the US was involved in an undemocratic change of government under Obama. we think of it as a democratic uprising because we were told to, but they had a democracy. but then it's argued it was actually a corrupt fake democracy. that is said about most democracies when the wrong people win. it had been an imperfect democracy too closely aligned with Russia.
