Headline from the Wired magazine newsletter:
"The $1 Million Aston Martin Valhalla Makes You Drive Better Than You Thought Possible"
i dunno, a million dollars can buy a lot of driving lessons.
Although I suspect people who own million dollar cars don't care much about driving lesson or road laws.
The customary introduction post, pinned for now.
I moved here from mstdn.ca partly as a result of the controversy there but also because ottawa.place is where I would have been if I knew about it when I first came to Mastodon.
I also have a blog ( http://the5thc.blogspot.com/ ) and a GPS maps site ( https://gpstrailmaps.blogspot.com/ ) and a youtube channel which is mostly slideshows of my photos ( https://www.youtube.com/@richardwwoodley/videos ).
My bio here reads: Retired Parliamentary Indexer. Socialist, political observer and sometime activist with HBA in Political Science, Laurentian University, 1973. Outdoorsperson, environmentalist, cyclist and former mountain biker. Amateur photographer and mapmaker.

"This column is dedicated to the proposition that Canada (and indeed the world) is in a crisis situation and that fundamental social change is required to remedy this situation." - The First Column, Lambda November 2, 1971 This blog is inspired by my column of the same name in the Laurentian University Newspaper, Lambda, from 1971-1973. The title refers to the concept of subverting the system from within. To read key excerpts from those columns read the first few posts in this blog.
