Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 894 , Thursday 09/04/2026

Thursday has been a quiet day, chilling out after yesterday’s excitement.

Made some serious progress with my mutant MacBook, I found an app - Deskflow - that allows me to use my Mac mini’s keyboard & trackpad with Linux!

Also found a firewall that looks a lot like ‘Little Snitch’ which I use on my Mac & like a lot … OpenSnitch is similar & seems to work ok.

Still need a text replacement solution before using it for chatting with my fedi-frens becomes workable - you know I love my emojis 😆

I also finished cleaning the chinese style lamp we got from my MiLs - it’s now in the lounge & integrated with the automation. It needs a different lampshade though - I might hit ebay or Etsy to find something suitable.

My leg seems a lot better today - it still gives me some grief when I get up but I think I’ll be back to normal by next week.

Final Thoughts.

A quiet day which I needed.
