I'm not as austere as others who are stopping updating any application that has pivoted to slop.
I could see the potential benefit of using LLMs to find bugs if not for:
- Environmental impact
- Energy usage
- Stealing jobs from tech workers
- Stealing the work of humans for the sake of oligarchs
- Laundering code, stripping it of its copyright protections
It amazes me that tech workers will use technology that will not only eliminate the livelihood of their own colleagues, but of themselves in the future, for the sake of having a little more convenience for today.
If there is indeed a Judge out there, I can't imagine the would deem humanity worthy. :'(
