How long is it since you have had cauliflower with white sauce? Not since a visit to your Grandparents for Xmas in 1980? Well, this baked dish changed that for me – Cauliflower Gratin with Bechamel Sauce with Blue Cheese and White Pepper. It is topped with breadcrumbs which gives it a crunchy, delicious texture to contrast the softness of the cauliflower. A great flavour combo.

Quite frequently, TBH. Then again we'd be classed as "old".

@LifeTimeCooking We are experimenting with and adapting traditional Korean/ Asian ways more and more. The expression "Old fashioned" has no meaning for us for a long time.
So, why not cauliflower with white sauce , with or without cheese, curry etc ?
Making piccalilly is custom after eating a part " the old way ":)

( Three- weekly breadbaking session ended well this week. Getting one of the jars with piccalilly out of the fridge resulted in dropping it on the floor. Messy situation ! 😐 )
