I loved reading OverLondon by George Penney and Tony Johnson. The first chapter was a bit overwhelming: it’s a highly original world and a lot to take in, but after that, I couldn’t stop reading. It’s simultaneously very funny and engaging, with some light societal satire on the side. If you’re into goat-pulled carriages, life-extending barnacles, priests who bless with the sign of the pound, and a swashbuckling pirate who makes it Reign—this is your next read!
