@65dBnoise It is time to repeal GAR 181 and de-nationalize the #Zionist state. There is a general assembly process for this, requiring a 2/3 majority, but there is NO security council veto for a repeal vote.
For the #Palestinian, there is little difference, since they never got the state 181 promised them. The general assembly could then vote to recognize and seat #Palestina as the sole representative of the mandate territory and there are precedents for that, too. The Philippines became a UN member while still under US military occupation. And of course, there was the transfer of the China seat to the new mainland government, It can be done. Israeli assets, consulates and embassies could be confiscated and transferred to the Palestinians.
The world can correct a grave past injustice.

That would require a different world, I'm afraid. Justice is a concept that bends to power. So the question is who has/is in power.
My understanding of the conditions when the Palestine, Philippines and China cases were decided upon is that the balance of power in the world in the second half of the 20th century, right after WWII, was considerably different than it is today. Which, in turn, may be changing again, given the new conditions created by the climate crisis.

• using a personal pronoun, "you". It urges the responder to reply in a similar tone
• "cheap" is meant to create emotion and receive a reply in similar tone
• using a generic phrase "complicated conflict". Other standard phrases taught to professionals include "I'm hearing you", "I understand", or "I see your point"

The UN is supposed to be that sobering entity. The UN has one of its agencies trying to help threatened to be exterminated by Israeli officials. Who else is going to help in an sober way an "already heated conflict"?
Is there something specific from a peace seeking pov that you are thinking of, which can be helpful?

I feel lucky and privileged to live in an area without heated conflicts, at present. The least I can do, is show empathy for those who suffer. Apathy is not a choice.

So we have this in common: we live in areas without heated conflicts. And we receive information about the suffering in the world. How can we help, what can be helpful? I can't offer you a general answer. I can expose for you my answer for myself.
Conflicts are like closed boxes. Violence leads to violence, hate to hate. Putting more hate in that box doesn't lead to peace.

Still, I can't see what you refer to as "hate" wrt my post. I'm talking about Israelis threatening to kill UN personnel; only today a staff member of the WHO was killed and a doctor injured from Israeli fire.
I don't believe that in this era of global communications, conflicts are black boxes. Does sharing facts reported in the news and verified constitute "hate"? Prominent Jewish scholars have called the Israeli war in Gaza a genocide; multiple UN committees

too; recently, prominent Israelis signed a declaration that “Palestinians live under a regime of apartheid”. The news is full of condemnation of Israeli war crimes.
