(And if you're talking about magnetic North then it's not a convention)

Unless of course you want to count all languages and units of measurement as a construct but at that point you are no longer speaking English but rather some other language that just happens to sound like English.

This general idea has quite a lot of applications: get me high and we can talk about the definition of Art and how it relates to the meaning of life (long story and it's not going where you think it is, lol)

@Quenby the idea that cardinal directions, an arbitrary set of labels we use to orient navigation, are not a social construct is truly bonkers. I would probably just sit there blinking in utter confusion and the walk away because…wut?
