Yeah, I can actually 'smell' in my most of my dreams.
Things like the ones I listed were from the dream I had the night before.
I have now got to the point that if I don't 'smell' during a dream it kinda worries me.

@OohOkayKay I have to admit, there are dreams where I'm glad I can't experience smells π
Mind you, it would have added so much depth to the dream that inspired Splinter Town - rowing a boat on dark water between ancient wooden houses on stilts slowly collapsing into the sea. Imagine the sharp fresh brine, the mouldering seaweed, the tar on the wooden columns, the dry mustiness of the wood of the standing buildings.

The one that hit me hard was when in my dream I was being chased through a kitchen and I could smell the onions/garlic being fried in olive oil on the stove as I ran through. Like for a brief 5 seconds I could clearly smell it.
Up until that dream I guess I hadn't really noticed it but after that I understood it had always been there, I just wasn't aware of it.
