She is known for harrassing other people, especially transmascs, even across platforms when they call out her tirf behavior and how toxic it is. She dug out my dead tumblr to hurl slurs at me, then created throw away bsky accounts to call me a Nazi in DMs and now tries her luck here on mastodon. She claims misandry isn't real, especially transmisandry and is fine with even the most vicious hate against transmascs. I believe she also had some sort of beef with transfem.social when they didn't tolerate tirf bullshit.

Block and defederate her into oblivion.

In my experience this behaviour is typical for people who have a bias against transmascs speaking about their own oppression, trying to devalue their lived experience. The mindset is that trans men are men and therefore can't be oppressed, ignoring the fact they still experience transmisia and transmisandry as a specific form of transmisia. That's why I think it's important to bring this to a wider audience instead of just quietly blocking and moving on.

For me it seems a typical behaviour of this cmdr-nova that she likes to pull the marginalization card against others. It should not come as a surprise, but people who are marginalized in one way or another, can still oppress others. And trans people can have internalized transmisia just like PoC can have internalized racism and so on. Being marginalized is no free card for assholes behaviour imho.

Screenshots pulled from my bsky account. From time to time I search certain key words such as slurs targeted at transmasculine people and trans men to add those accounts to my blocklist, and then move on, usually forgetting about them just a moment later. In June 2025, when I encountered a certain cmdr-nova.bsky.social, I had already abandoned my Tumblr account, it was pretty much dead and gathering dust. Suddenly I got a notif with an ask that just hurled random slurs at me. Took me a bit to connect the dots, as you can see below. She later confessed it was her and bragged about it. Quite a dedication to dig that up just toninsult me. That's the start of this story. From then on it continued with insults in my DMs via throw away accounts and revenge list.

Besides ... Ableistic as fuck, just saying.

Re the name of my list: I could have named it Anti-transmasculinity, it expresses the same concept, it's just quite the mouthfull to say. I avoid transandrophobia because that's ableist. So transmisandry it is.

Wafrn is afaik a Tumblr alternative run by mainly trans people, because Tumblr is, uh, not nice to us let's say. Apparently Wafrn had banned a radfem who happend to be a trans woman, because she said radfem things going along the way: "I hate all men and don't care if they are cis or trans."
Let's make a simple comparison. Transmisia and racism have very similar ways how they work, therefore let's replace cis with white and trans with black. I hope everyone would agree that this would be racist. So why should such a mindset be acceptible if it's targeted at trans men?

Transmasculine people experience transmisia on top of misogyny. But because transmisogyny is already defined as the specific intersection of transmisia and misogyny targeted at transfems we need another word for our lived experience, because it is not just transmisia and it works different than transmisogyny.

Claiming that our oppression isn't real ist by the way one form transmisandry manifests.

Let's continue. cmdr-nova wasn't happy that her fellow tirf was banned for expressing transmisic believes. That's how she talks about those trans men responsible (I believe) for this mod decision. I added the Screenshots linked in the text.

Originally I wrote that I thought cmdr-nova had some sort of beef with transfems.social. Turns out the beef was actually with Wafrn, tho she is also not happy with transfem.social for saying: "Hey, transmisia doesn't get cool, when it comes from other trans people." Which I agree to.

With this second blogpost we come to the core why I believe that this so called trans inclusive radical feminism (tirf) is toxic and should be banned from instances who want to protect their users. For someone who claims to follow fourth wave intersectional feminism cmdr-nova holds surprisingly many second wave feminism believes, and that's where the mindset of radical feminism falls under 🫠

White people hold systemic power over BIPoC, a white woman is very much able to oppress a black man. A cis woman is very much able to oppress a trans man. Hell, have you seen what Rowling does?! We all are oppressed in one way and hold systemic power in other areas and we all hold discriminatory believes because we all grow up in an oppressive system. It is our responsibility to actively unlearn racism, queermisia, ableism, classism and so on. Only then can we overcome patriarcy.
Trying to frame transmascs as toxic and even fascist MRAs is a prime example of transmisandry. The silencing of transmasc voices and the reframing of them as toxic is a systemic way of eradicating our visibility, that you encounter again and again and again if you would just listen to us.

I end with three simple truths:
1. Under patriarchy there are no winners but a very few and those are people like Trump, Vance, Musik and Putin: old, white and very rich cis men.
2. Hating men in general is antifeminist praxis.
3. Infights like tirfs targeting transmascs only serve our shared oppressors. They want to see us all dead whether you lick their boots or not.

@elenyafinwe I can't follow here. Why would it be racist to say "I hate all men and don't care if they are white or black"? I don't think everyone agrees here without some specific knowledge or definition of racism that I'm not aware of.

@skaphle because such a statement ignores systems of oppression. Black men are far more likely to be killed in police violence for example. That's the whole issue that started the BLM movement. White women have systemic power over black men, simply because they are white. We even have a name for those women: Karens and their white women tears.
The same power dynamics are at work when you look at cis vs. trans. A cis woman will always have systemic power over a trans man. The whole radical feminist mindset is based on this power dynamic, tho what they actually do is victim blaming. "We have to defend the poor defenseless women from the nasty transgenders!" This is on top also misogynist because it pictures women as weak and in need of protection. Women doing this have internalized misogyny that they use as a weapon against trans people. If it's a trans woman doing this (trans inclusive radical feminist) internalised transmisia comes on top. Tho to be fair I also have seen some trans men doing this as well, but it's not as common.

The winners of patriarchy are white cis heteronormative, abled and rich men*. Everyone else looses in some way or another the power play of patriarchy. In order to get a little bit closer to the top some people are willing to appease their oppressors by kicking downward on the ladder. You can see this happen very clearly in the women for Trump movement. Another very clear example is Jewish people in Germany in the Third Reich, who betrayed their fellow Jews to the Nazis in hopes of getting away when they play the rules of the Nazis. As we know they didn't.

*Tho in my personal oppinion everyone looses in patriarcy, even the obscenely rich CEO of some big corporation who works 80h per week, never sees his family and never learned t be in touch with his emotions (I recommend The Will to Change by bell books to read more on that topic). What is all the wealth and power in the world worth if you lack real human connection? That's what patriarchy takes even from the "winners".

@elenyafinwe hi! "misandry" isn't real. it's a word invented by anti-feminist "men's rights activists" with the goal of re-centering men in opposition to the gains made by feminism. today it's mostly used by "manosphere" chuds and 4chan.

also, you put someone on blast due to what appears to be a disagreement with their feminist politics, on a hashtag meant to bring spammer, fascist, and pedophile instances to the attention of instance admins. that's called a targeted public harassment campaign.

putting that person on public blast alongside spammers and fascists because they said your politics suck: definitely, unambiguously, a public targeted harassment campaign

threatening someone who replies to you to tell you that you're engaging in a public targeted harassment campaign with a public, targeted harassment campaign: I don't even need to say it
