But you can move outside the USA, that doesn't seem like a sincere excuse.
I seem to recall OpenBSD moved outside the USA to Canada due to their immoral laws.
There are many reasons not to be in the USA.
Saying it takes effort tells us how much you value your comfort vs human suffering.
As the other persons said, there are almost 200 countries on planet earth.
Many of them are not in, as I think you wanted to say "the west".
On that note, it's not quite that simple to move outside without losing all you have build up. I honestly would appreciate a fully independent GNOME Europe and GNOME Asia branch of the foundation, but this wouldn't really cover this specific issue.
@rzeta0 While I agree that GNOME Foundation should consider moving out of US, I would also like to say that OpenBSD moving from Nazi Reich to Nazi Reich Collaborator shouldn't be used as higher moral ground.
The West status quo is that "We don't care about Iran and we lean against them, but we don't want to fund US war".
Also not in any way defending Iran's Fascist Government.
I have decided never to use Gnome as long as it behaves like this.
And I will be advising people of good conscience not to either, highlighting the disparity that you don't allow fellows from Iran but you do from ***, citing inconvenience as your reason not to do anything about it.
