Just wondering, who keeps an analog clock out on display in your home? I am thinking the older one is, the more likely. Let’s see! Ok to share. #Clock #Time #Analog #Digital
@cobalt123 We have four: living room, kitchen, garage and my office. One of my ADHD issues is time blindness, and analog clocks help me better conceptualize time passing.

@HumToTable Oh! That’s interesting. Both I am my son Drew area very very #ADHD. I still want the LARGE analog clock to remind me I might need to pay attention to time.

My son can “say” time is such and so , only if digital. He can say the numbers. BUT no longer conceptualizes time unless I tell him and tell him what it means. This is common for those with Alzheimer’s.

Your phrase “conceptual” is an important element of how we relate to time. I think I’m not quite as attuned to time unless it’s vague, like “It’s almost 7” or “dang, I’m late because it’s already 7”.

Yes, due to time warps in ADD, I rarely can remember that ten minutes is not long enough to do the ten things I still have to do. All my life I wished I really had the ability to warp time.

@miffyhelen everthing that has already happened is 'in the past.' however, i have absolutely no idea when, relative to now, those things happened. was it yesterday? an hour ago? the late pleistocene? je ne sais pas. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
