Kurt@rio standard behavior of #lineageOS aswell. The choice of your app store is a very personal decision. #eOS ships a more complete "applounge". Many hate it.

brinerustle@lukemartell @Kurt @rio Applounge is basically a combination of f-droid and a front-end for the play store. I don't like that free software is mixed up with proprietary. You also can't uninstall the default system apps like applounge on /e/OS.
You may with to consider getting a device with iodéOS, it comes with f-droid and aurora store (an improved and privacy-respecting google play front-end) by default and any and all pre-installed apps can be removed. Which is as it should be.

@brinerustle @Kurt @rio I'm getting a fairphone and that comes with e/os so I'll stick with that. I use Fdroid and also Accrescent and Aurora.
