The purpose of Public Education is not, should not be, and must not be training of "workers".
The purpose of Public Education is, should, and must be creation and nuturing of: informed, engaged Citizens; innovative, independent Makers; and trusted, expert Leaders.
Our system of education is failing us because decades of #neoliberalism and #neofeudalism have turned it into a grist mill for wage slaves to serve the aristocracy, the ownership class.
We the People must control our own destinies.
