I know some people are gonna complain, why not multiple choice. Today you have to make just one choice, that's why
@cwebber i agree with your decision, having a single choice is very important for this poll given its sociopolitical context.

I hate to be that guy, but could anyone give a heads up about the context? Is it because the panhandle is one of the most racist places in the US, or is there a recent development I'm unaware of?

As a European would of course not step foot in the US at all, so my answer to the question is still a resounding "no". I'm just curious.

Trans bathroom bill with jail penalties passes Idaho Legislature

Idaho lawmakers passed a sweeping bathroom bill Friday that makes it a crime for transgender people to use bathrooms matching their gender identity. The bill now goes to Republican Gov. Brad Little, who will decide whether to sign it into law or veto. At least 19 states including Idaho already have laws barring transgender people from using bathrooms that align with their gender in schools or some other public places. But Idaho's bill would be the first to broadly include private businesses. Violators would face time in jail or prison. The ACLU of Idaho has urged the governor to veto the bill. Opponents say it criminalizes transgender people for simply existing.

pee outside of bathroom, as simple as that...
@sab @cwebber Aside from being aggressively anti-trans, Idaho is also a state with a large and known white supremacist contingent. Like I've heard that even mainstream republican voters there are embarrassed by the open racists there... at least sometimes.
@cwebber I go to Idaho potato pretty often. Or rather, Idaho potato has been to me.
@cwebber Are we talking about the public Idaho? Or a private one?
@eviloatmeal Don’t go on the patio! @cwebber

@cwebber We should go to Idaho en masse and follow the law. Chaos would ensue.
@cwebber Idaho is a bastion for white nationalists. It is also beautiful.
@cwebber I'm living in my own private Idaho. Underground like a wild potato.

Beware of the pool, blue bottomless pool

@cwebber Shop owners in Idaho will talk your ear off when you ask them about photos of the town buried in ash. Don't do this while stoned unless you want to hear about the history of the huckleberry
@cwebber @mayintoronto Having been to Idaho, multiple times, no, I don't recommend it.
@cwebber I'd rather go to Cleveland than Idaho.
@IveyJanette @cwebber Cleveland is actually pretty cool, aside from the fact that it's in Ohio.
@julie @cwebber True. Too bad the rest of the state is crap.

@cwebber No.

Sorry but it needs to be both capitalized and punctuated, that’s how hard one should not.

@cwebber

It’s ok, I pay ten bucks a month for a Virtual Private Idaho that’s secure and routes through Oregon.

@cwebber It's too late for me I'm already stuck in the panhandle. Save yourselves.
@cwebber
As an Idahoan I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone.
@mav @cwebber Idaho remains an excellent place to be from.

NO!

@cwebber I always try to sneak through the skinny bit as fast as possible
@cwebber I lived in Idaho for a while. There are some decent people there, but can confirm that they are completely swamped by extremely right wing asshats. I will never go back there and I try to avoid purchasing anything produced there.
@Thorium @cwebber I lived there for one year and I couldn't get back to Washington fast enough
@cwebber I had the worst Chinese food in my life in Idaho.
