I hate to be that guy, but could anyone give a heads up about the context? Is it because the panhandle is one of the most racist places in the US, or is there a recent development I'm unaware of?
As a European would of course not step foot in the US at all, so my answer to the question is still a resounding "no". I'm just curious.

Idaho lawmakers passed a sweeping bathroom bill Friday that makes it a crime for transgender people to use bathrooms matching their gender identity. The bill now goes to Republican Gov. Brad Little, who will decide whether to sign it into law or veto. At least 19 states including Idaho already have laws barring transgender people from using bathrooms that align with their gender in schools or some other public places. But Idaho's bill would be the first to broadly include private businesses. Violators would face time in jail or prison. The ACLU of Idaho has urged the governor to veto the bill. Opponents say it criminalizes transgender people for simply existing.
