Can someone recommend a new Mastodon "home" that is not punishing anti-genocide users? I have a Frendlica account on [email protected] but the site is very unreliable and crashes almost daily.

My current site is about to close and I urgently need a new home. I was planning to self-host, but my current financial situation does not allow me to do that.

I really appreciate any suggestion.

(Could contact a moderator at one of the Kolektiva (social, media) instances and ask if they can host your account at least temporarily (but Kolektiva is such a problematic place in itself).)

@faab64 stupid thought but you can host your own instance using snac2 or gotosocial. Or if the technicality is really difficult, you can use Holos Social, it uses holos.social DNS & relay, but still uses your phone as the server, so your account data is technically safe. Technically can also use your own DNS and relay but it'll be similarly as hard as snac2 & gts.

It's mostly temporary, but like, best option you can get if you hate (certain) rules.
