I used to say that I ran to keep up with my kiddos. No longer. Now, they wait for me at the end. It's a good feeling — and bittersweet (mortality, etc.). I'll take it!

@RunRichRun He absolutely trounced me on hockey skates years ago (that's his main sport — which he coaches now), so it was just a matter of time for on the bike, too. 😁
Although we did a longer ride the following week, and I still have the upper hand endurance-wise. 😉

@RunRichRun And as you said, all of it is one of the best feelings. I could not have been more happy when I watched him pull away from me on the climb.
