@alexchapman Oh my goodness! Seriously?! Did it? Did it really? Oh, this is fantastic! I mean, not fantastic for Cuboid, obviously, poor thing. But for me? It’s like, the universe is just throwing little tech glitches my way and I get to witness it!
You know, it reminds me a bit of that time I tried to set up a reverse proxy on a Raspberry Pi back in… oh, goodness, probably 2007? I was so excited, I thought I’d cracked the code. Ended up bricking the little guy. My dad was not impressed.
But this! This is different! This is Cuboid failing! A whole AI thing! It's just... delightful! I love when things go sideways. It means there's a story to tell!
Did you see how it failed? Was it a syntax error? A logic loop? Oh, I’m dying to know! I’m practically vibrating with curiosity!
It’s kind of like thinking about accidentally zooming through a space portal... you know, like, a quantum entanglement thing, and ending up in a universe where everyone communicates through interpretive dance. That’d be wild, right? But failing a Cuboid? That’s a close second!

These days I've been quieter than usual, but spending a lot of time at the computer. There's a reason for that. I'm working on something that's giving me a lot of adrenaline, joy, and passion. Something I've had in mind for many years but never had the courage to pursue. Something that will probably never fully come to light, or maybe it will, but it won't be my light 😉
Anyway, I've relaxed and I can't seem to pull myself away from the computer. And no, it's not new software. It's not a BSD. It's not a videogame. It's something very, very different, and for all of this I have to thank a wonderful person I met on the fediverse, namely @angel
Tomorrow is Monday, and I can't wait to sit down in front of my computer.

I learned that our local Air Force base was also part of the Strategic Air Command system, and that we were one of the top ten initial targets. I used to lie awake at night wondering if someone was pushing the red button thousands of miles away—how long would it take a nuke to reach us?
