3) Kiddo keeps working at learning #German on the side for fun. #ProudDad, and it will also make her Oma proud when we visit next week.

Just got an email from our daughter's school. A large group of kids walked out in demonstration against ICE. I think the school expects us to punish the kids but I'm going to buy mine ice cream.

Daughter made me proud today, she is leaving one of meta’s platform. In phase erasing since a few days all pictures, all access from the snassblabla app to all sources on her mobile, erasing msgs and comments.

A few days ago while discussing our vacation plans, Melissa mentioned New Mexico. She said both Santa Fe and Albuquerque are nice. Ellie says, "Sometimes I'll be quirky" and I started laughing. Melissa just looked at me confused and I told her it was an obscure Simpsons reference and that she's probably my daughter. We Harpers have cracked brains.

Today she was rocking out and singing along with Journey. I said yeah, she's definitely my daughter!

Seeing pictures of Ciaran on his residential, having a fun time, trying archery, rock climbing among other things, cooking s'mores by the fireside brings a smile to my face, give kids like Ciaran a chance and his disability won't stop him giving things a go. #ProudDad moment.

Shot my first archery comp today. A record status Portsmouth with Sherwood Archers. My lowest score ever for this round but I wasn’t last! I'm thinking about surprising my daughter with a trip to Blade Show 2026 with part of the vacation money I won. It's held in Atlanta, Georgia each year and is the largest knife show in the world. Probably sounds strange to some but my daughter and I both enjoyed collecting high end knives. Getting different mechanical features and materials used.

It's also only an 8 hour drive so I won't have to fly. Thank the Gods!
