Not nearly as spectacular and momentous as yesterday's phenomenal OT goal for the USA Women's hockey team to take the gold 🥇, but here's another stretch pass which resulted in a 🏒 🥅🚨

This was from 7 years ago, almost to the day.

The goal scorer? My son — who is now a coach in the organization he grew up playing in. 🥲

And if you ever wondered "Why does the x-axis of a Hertzsprung-Russell diagram go from hotter to cooler temperatures?", take a look at the bottom x-axis of the H-R diagram in this excellent article… the lower the Color Index, the more blue (hotter) the object is.

When I modeled 500m and 1km track cyclists back in 2008 (!), the peak age was ~25.5 for both male and female (modeled separately)
