Police have arrest 25 people after what is believed to be “the biggest demonstration ever against the far right” concluded in central London.

The Metropolitan Police arrested 18 people for supporting Palestine Action, two for climbing up the National Gallery columns, and five others.

It comes as an estimated half a million people joined a mass demonstration against the far-right in central London. A separate march organised by the Palestine Coalition then joined the Together Alliance for the rally on Whitehall.

@regendans

One urgent task for the next #ukgovernment, assuming it is an honest one, is to disband the METROPOLITAN POLICE and introduce a new honest and uncorrupt police force for the capital.
Then maybe the corruption endemic in #westminster might have some hope of being at least reduced to a manageable level.

@regendans

Hardly a day passes that there isn't a press release or article where some member of the police, usually the Met. but others too, is being outed as a trouble maker, inciting violence or as a sexual predator, abuser or racist.

I, for one, am totally disillusioned as to the integrity of the #establishment of the British police as a whole. The corruption must originate at the highest layer.

It seems there are more criminals within the police than without.
