Two #PalestineAction activists who were on trial for allegedly damaging security systems have been found not guilty.
Audrey Corno, 23, of Southwark, south-east London, and Jessica Stacey, 24, of no fixed abode, denied criminal damage charges at Aylesbury Crown Court.
Both women were accused of damaging building fabric and security systems belonging to GRiD Defence Systems, of Wooburn Green, near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on 16 April 2025

With all of the drama and finger pointing around Murell it is easy to forget other things that are happening. In this case the action by the UK government to prevent their proscription of Palestine Action being suspended in Scotland. An interesting report - I was amused at the judges comments on the coherence of the states case. A ruling is expected today (Thursday)

The Foreign Enlistment Act of 1870 explicitly prohibits “engagement in the military or naval service of any foreign state at war with any foreign state at peace with Her Majesty”
The United Kingdom formally recognised the Palestinian state on September 22, 2025
A Freedom of Information request by the Jewish Voice for Labour has revealed that over 2,000 UK citizens have served in the Israeli military during the Gaza genocide.
Authorising prosecutions is the responsibility of the Attorney General. The current AG is Richard Hermer who has said: “I have dear family members currently serving in the IDF.” And Hermer is not alone, his predecessor Suella Braveman also reported: having: “close family members who serve in the IDF.
Harmer's reluctance to prosecute IDF soldiers is matched only by his enthusiasm to sign off terrorism charges against people peacefully holding placards saying “I oppose Genocide, I support Palestine Action”
Is this just?
