I've been bearing with Apple Podcasts but its Tahoe iteration is almost as insufferable as Apple Music and I just can't anymore

Erik Childs@nileane this is part of why I’ve been hoping for a long time for an open podcast sync standard - enabling the use of different Podcast players on different platforms. It wouldn’t solve the macOS issue, but it’d make developing a great macOS experience more worthwhile.

Glenn Brown@nileane I had used the Overcast iPad app on the Mac but it’s incredibly buggy in Tahoe. I just use the Overcast web app now.

@endocrimes Yeah I’m used to Overcast but the iPad version on macOS is extremely frustrating to me 😬
@nileane it really is I just can’t do without smart speed (and syncing listen state)

Odin@andycarolan @nileane @richallum I haven’t seen a statement from Apple or the EU that gives the exact reason. My impression is that Apple thinks enabling the feature in the EU could lead to a requirement that they build/allow iPhone mirroring to Windows as well, and they’re being petty and would rather ship nothing

EU: "Release it, *then* we'll let you know."
