I've been bearing with Apple Podcasts but its Tahoe iteration is almost as insufferable as Apple Music and I just can't anymore

Odin@andycarolan @nileane @richallum I haven’t seen a statement from Apple or the EU that gives the exact reason. My impression is that Apple thinks enabling the feature in the EU could lead to a requirement that they build/allow iPhone mirroring to Windows as well, and they’re being petty and would rather ship nothing

Apple: "Hey EU if we release this are you going to sue us to make us allow for Windows to mirror iPhones and macOS to mirror Android phones?"
EU: "Release it, *then* we'll let you know."
Apple: "Well, isn't there an easier way?"
EU: "Well you could just do all of that up front."
Apple: "Um, no."
